Lower the bar on the smith machine all the way and add the desired amount of weight to set up for the bent-over row.
With your hands wider than shoulder-width apart, take an overhand grip on the bar while facing it.
To remove the machine’s weight, stand upright.
Maintain a straight back, flex your knees a little, and then gradually release the weight until it is just below your knees. This is where everything begin.
Pull the weight up until it almost touches your body while maintaining your posture.
After a brief pause gradually lower the bar to its initial position.
