  • The workout known as the seated barbell twist targets obliques.Take a small barbell and place it against your neck’s musculature. The weight shouldn’t be on your neck!
  • With your feet firmly planted on the floor and positioned wider than shoulder width take a seat on a flat bench.
  • Maintain a rigid straight back.Turn your torso slowly to the left then to the right.
  • Twist as much as you can. Face forward and do not turn your head with the twist.

Workout Advice:

  • Maintain a forward facing head position. Avoid glancing side to side.
  • Throughout the entire set maintain a taut abs routine.
  • Whenever you use an Olympic bar, make sure you have adequate space!
