How to do an Inverted Row guide

An alternative to the inverted row is  high inverted row.
Lower the bar on smith machine and take a position beneath it to prepare for the high inverted row.
With your arms just a little bit broader than your shoulders, grab the bar.
Place your feet in front of you so that the bar directly touches your upper chest.
Maintain a straight posture and raise yourself as high as you can. The bar should be about the height of your neck or upper chest.
After a brief pause, return to your starting posture gradually. 

Tips for Inverted Rows

Maintain a straight posture during the activity.
At the peak of the exercise, pause and clench your shoulder blades together.
Don’t let your body fall; instead, lower yourself gradually.
