  • To set up this type of cable curl decide what weight you want to add to the stack and attach a straight bar to the low pulley cable.
  • Maintain a shoulder width distance between your legs as you face the cable machine.
  • With your thumbs pointing toward your body take a neutral grip on the rope extension.
  • Curl the rope up as much as you can slowly keeping your elbows tucked up at your sides.
  • At the peak of the exercise tighten your biceps and then gradually return the weight to the beginning position. This counts as one rep.
  • Continue until you reach the required number of reps.
